Have you been hearing all about feeds, RSS(Really Simple Syndication!), ATOM, feed-readers, syndication, news-readers, aggregators seen the following symbol  , and have absolutely no idea or scoobydoo what it means?

Well, here goes ................

Would you like to keep up-to-date with a website without having to revisit it regularly to see if it has changed?  Then RSS feeds are the solution for you!  By placing the URL address of the feed into your news or feed aggregator, you can be kept up-to-date with multiple sites using one piece of software.  Think of it as your daily newspaper, but you only receive the latest information for what interests and is relevant to you.

1. Click on the relevant link above that interests you
2. Copy the URL address at the top of your browser
3. Paste the link into your local news reader
4. You will be notified only when there is an update change to that element of the website

But where can you get a news reader from (here are some suggestions):

Desktop Readers
Desktop Windows - FeedDemon - Not free
Mac OS X - NetNewsWire - Not free
Microsoft Outlook 2007 also has excellent reader capabilities - Free if you already have Outlook!

Browser Readers
Mozilla Firefox - Free
Internet Explorer - Free
Opera - free
Google Reader - free
